Sample College of Arts & Science has achieved a significant milestone by being ranked among the top 10 institutions in the region by the National Education Excellence Survey 2025. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to academic excellence, quality infrastructure, and holistic student development. The survey evaluated over 500 institutions across multiple parameters including faculty quality, research output, placement records, and student satisfaction. Our college scored exceptionally well in all categories, with particular excellence noted in our NAAC A+ accreditation, 100% placement record for the past three years, and innovative teaching methodologies. Principal Dr. A. K. Sharma expressed pride in this achievement and credited the dedicated faculty, supportive management, and hardworking students for this success.
MoU Signed with TechCorp for Industry-Integrated Curriculum & Internships
A landmark partnership between Sample College and TechCorp aims to bridge the academia-industry gap through integrated curriculum, internships, and placement opportunities.
Sample College of Arts & Science has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TechCorp, a leading multinational technology company. This partnership will provide students with industry-integrated curriculum, mandatory internship opportunities, live project exposure, and direct placement pathways. As part of this collaboration, TechCorp will conduct regular workshops, guest lectures, and skill development programs on campus. The company has committed to hiring at least 50 students annually from various departments including Computer Science, BCA, and Commerce. This initiative aligns with our mission to provide students with real-world experience and enhance their employability. The MoU was signed in the presence of college management, TechCorp executives, faculty members, and students.
New AI & Machine Learning Research Center Inaugurated with State-of-the-Art Facilities
The college inaugurated a cutting-edge AI & ML Research Center equipped with advanced computing infrastructure to foster innovation and research.
Sample College has inaugurated a world-class AI & Machine Learning Research Center equipped with high-performance computing systems, GPU clusters, and advanced software tools. The center, built with an investment of ₹2 Crore, will serve as a hub for research, innovation, and collaborative projects with industry partners. It features 60 workstations with latest hardware, dedicated servers for deep learning experiments, and access to cloud computing resources. The center was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Kumar from IIT Delhi, who praised the college's initiative in embracing emerging technologies. Faculty and students will now have access to resources for conducting cutting-edge research in AI, ML, NLP, computer vision, and data science. The center will also offer specialized training programs and certification courses for students and working professionals.
Students Win National Smart India Hackathon with Healthcare Innovation
A team of five students from the Computer Science department won the first prize at Smart India Hackathon 2025 with an AI-powered healthcare diagnostic tool.
A team of five students from Sample College has won the prestigious Smart India Hackathon 2025 at the national level. The team developed an innovative AI-powered healthcare diagnostic tool that can predict potential health issues based on patient symptoms and medical history. The solution, named "HealthAI Predictor," uses machine learning algorithms and natural language processing to analyze patient data and provide preliminary diagnoses with high accuracy. The team competed against over 5,000 teams from across India and emerged victorious, winning a cash prize of ₹1 Lakh and mentorship from industry experts. The college management felicitated the winning team and announced support for further development of the project into a commercial product. This achievement showcases the quality of technical education and innovation culture fostered at our institution.
100% Placement Record Achieved for Final Year Students - 50+ Companies Recruited
Sample College achieves 100% placement for the third consecutive year with over 50 top companies recruiting from campus, highest package reaches ₹18 LPA.
Sample College of Arts & Science has achieved a remarkable 100% placement record for final year students for the third consecutive year. Over 50 renowned companies including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Deloitte, and Amazon participated in the campus recruitment drive. A total of 850 students were successfully placed with the highest package reaching ₹18 Lakhs per annum and the average package standing at ₹6.5 Lakhs per annum. The Placement Cell conducted extensive pre-placement training programs including aptitude tests, technical skill workshops, group discussions, and mock interviews to ensure students were well-prepared. The college's strong industry connections, quality education, and focus on employability skills have contributed to this outstanding achievement. Principal Dr. A. K. Sharma congratulated the students and thanked the Placement Cell, faculty, and recruiting companies for making this possible.
Faculty Member Dr. Meena Verma Receives SERB Research Grant for Climate Study
Dr. Meena Verma from the Environmental Science department has been awarded a prestigious SERB research grant worth ₹25 Lakhs for climate change research.
Dr. Meena Verma, Associate Professor in the Environmental Science department, has been awarded a prestigious research grant of ₹25 Lakhs by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India. Her research project titled "Impact of Climate Change on Regional Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services" will be conducted over three years. The project aims to study the effects of changing climate patterns on local flora and fauna, and develop sustainable conservation strategies. Dr. Verma will collaborate with leading environmental research institutions and involve postgraduate students in the research work. This grant is a recognition of the quality of research being conducted at Sample College and will further strengthen our research capabilities. The college management has congratulated Dr. Verma and pledged full support for the successful completion of the project.
College Receives State Education Board's "Best College" Award for Excellence

Sample College of Arts & Science has been honored with the "Best College Award" by the State Education Board in recognition of its outstanding contribution to higher education. The award was presented by the Hon'ble Education Minister at a state-level function attended by education officials, college principals, and academic leaders. The college was evaluated on parameters including academic performance, infrastructure quality, faculty qualifications, research output, student welfare initiatives, and social outreach programs. Principal Dr. A. K. Sharma received the award on behalf of the institution and dedicated it to the entire college community - faculty, staff, students, and management. The award comes with a cash prize of ₹5 Lakhs which will be used for further enhancing student facilities. This recognition motivates us to continue our pursuit of excellence in education and overall institutional development.
Campus Infrastructure Upgrade Completed - New Buildings & Modern Facilities Inaugurated
A major infrastructure upgrade project worth ₹10 Crores has been completed, adding new academic blocks, laboratories, and student amenities.
Sample College has successfully completed a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade project worth ₹10 Crores, significantly enhancing the campus facilities. The project includes three new academic blocks with 50 spacious classrooms equipped with smart boards and air conditioning, five advanced laboratories for Science and Computer departments, an expanded library with seating for 500 students, a modern gymnasium and indoor sports complex, and renovated cafeteria facilities. The new infrastructure was inaugurated by the College Management Committee in the presence of faculty, students, and local dignitaries. Principal Dr. A. K. Sharma stated that these facilities will greatly enhance the learning experience and provide students with world-class amenities. The project was completed in 18 months with minimal disruption to academic activities. This investment demonstrates the institution's commitment to providing excellent educational infrastructure.
